Basic Salary (105,570-139,790 p.m.)

Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable

Allowances as per SRC guidelines

Duties and Responsibilities

i.                Evaluating patients' medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them.

ii.               Suggesting alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary.

iii.              Informing patients about the medical imaging process.

iv.              Using devices such as computer tomography (CT) scanners and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines.

v.               Performing or directing radiology staff to carry out image-guided, diagnostic procedures.

vi.              Working with radiology lab technicians to perfect image quality.

vii.             Interpreting the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnoses.

viii.            Communicating and discussing results and diagnoses with physicians.

ix.              Compiling written reports of results and diagnoses.

x.               Following medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations, when necessary.

Requirements for Appointment.

i.                 Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B:Ch.B) degree from a recognized by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

ii.                Masters in Radiology

iii.              Certificate of Registration by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board

iv.              Valid practicing license from Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board

v.                Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution

vi.              Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution

vii.             Demonstrated professional competence and managerial capability as reflected in work performance and results.
