Basic Salary: 105,570-139,790 p.m.

Duties and Responsibilities

i.              Examine teeth, gums and jaw structures.

ii.             Identify missing, damaged or worn-out teeth.

iii.            Assess bite alignment and jaw function.

iv.            Design and fit dentures (full and partial) and dental bridges.

v.             Restore patients’ ability to chew and speak properly.

vi.            Use crowns, veneers and inlays/onlays.

vii.           Repair broken or severely worn teeth.

viii.          Improve strength and appearance of teeth.

ix.            Plan and restore dental implants.

x.             Work closely with specialists who place implants.

xi.            Ensure proper fit and function of artificial teeth.

xii.           Improve smile aesthetics.

xiii.          Fix discoloration, shape and alignment issues.

xiv.          Provide smile makeovers using advanced techniques.

xv.           Manage patients with severe tooth loss, jaw injuries and congenital conditions.

xvi.          Reconstruct oral structures for better function.

xvii.         Diagnose and treat bite problems.

xviii.        Help manage conditions like Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ).

xix.          Ensure proper alignment of teeth and jaws.

xx.           Monitor patients after treatment.

xxi.          Adjust dentures, crowns or bridges as needed.

xxii.         Ensure long-term comfort and function.

xxiii.        Teach patients how to care for dentures and restorations.

xxiv.         Provide advice on oral hygiene and maintenance.

xxv.         Work with general dentists, orthodontists and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialists.

xxvi.        Handle complex restorative cases as part of a team.

Requirements for Appointment

i.                Bachelor of Dental Surgery (DS) degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

ii.               Master of Dental Surgery in Prosthodontics.

iii.              Certificate of Registration by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

iv.              Valid practicing license from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.

v.               Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution.

vi.              Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution.

vii.             Demonstrated professional competence and managerial capability as reflected in work performance and results.
